Born in London to a nuclear family with Mum, Dad and a sister, Leslie enjoyed reading from an early age and has always wanted to write a book.

Just over 50 years later, Shimaura was the result.

​

Although he has held a number of different jobs, Leslie has mainly worked in IT, first in London, then Suffolk and more recently in Sheffield.

​

He now lives in Chesterfield with his partner, Jayne.
